The latest “girls night out” craze is landing at the Summit, and our annual Women in Events mixer combines wine and painting into one of the best ladies hang-outs ever. If you’ve done it—you know you’re hooked. If you’re a newbie, get ready to have a blast.

SALT LAKE DINE-AROUND AND COCKTAIL CRAWL – BOOK TABLES IN ADVANCE! | 7:15 p.m.
Dinner and cocktails? Oh yes… you can. We’re holding tables at 16 of Salt Lake’s best restaurants just for you. Even though all but three are within an 8-minute walk of the Grand America, EMS/Visit Salt Lake Shuttles will depart the Grand America at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to drop attendees in the “restaurant zone.” (Note: This is merely a way to help you book and enjoy a night out in Salt Lake. There is no charge for shuttle service.) Here’s how it works:

STEP 1. Two options: One, check out the restaurants below, review the menus and call Caryn Bradshaw at 801-534-4946 and let her know you’d like took book a table during the “EM Summit Dine-Around” and inform her of your dining choice. Or, our friends at Visit Salt Lake can help you book when you get on-site at EMS. We’re suggesting all attendees try and sit down to dinner between 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Dining alone? We have a huge table reserved at Martine for “EMS Solos.” Just ask to book yourself a seat at the table of 25 being held for solos at Martine.

Restaurant Group A. Extremely close to the Grand America, 2-minute ride in EMS shuttle or taxi, 8-minute walk. Shuttles will provide drop-off to these establishments (leaving the Grand America at 7:15 p.m., 7:30 p.m., 7:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.) and then you can walk back to the hotel or take a taxi on your own later. Easy peasy.

Restaurant Group B. A few minutes further, but well worth it for EMS foodies who are down for upscale Mexican, elite Spanish tapas and true Utah farm-to-table dining. Still near Grand America. A 7-minute drive, not walkable. EMS shuttles will provide both drop-off and pick-up to and from these establishments. Or you can take a taxi on your own. Either way, you’re going to love it.

  • Farm-to-Table Dining. Pago
  • Sophisticated Mexican Gastronomy. Frida Bistro
  • Contemporary Spanish Cuisine and Tapas. Finca

STEP 2. Enjoy your dinner.

STEP 3. If you’d like to have a cocktail after dinner, feel free to swing by one of the eight lounges and bars we’ve called ahead to—we’ve told them to be on the lookout for extremely smart and incredibly thirsty event marketing professionals. All are within walking distance of each other and all are within a walk or a two-minute cab ride back to the Grand America. Attendees who dine among Restaurant List A, you’ll already be mere blocks from these bars and lounges. Attendees who dine among Restaurant List B, our EMS Shuttle will pick you up from dinner and will be happy to drop you off in the heart of this “cocktail collective” or back at the Grand America for a nightcap in the hotel lounge.
